Theme: Zero Tolerance on all forms of Child Abuse & Walk for Education
Date: 16–26 August 2017
Venue: Vitilevu Island, Fiji
The Foundation for the Education of Needy Children in Fiji (FENC Fiji) conducted a Public Support Campaign in August 2017. The campaign was launched at Suva’s Albert Park Convention Centre by the Head of European Delegation, Ambassador Andrew JACOBS on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 3.00pm – 5.00pm.
FENC FIJI was established in October 2009, and registered under the Charitable Trusts Act (Cap 67). With the generous support of the FijiFirst Government in its education programme, FENC Fiji in past years has extended its support to over 7,000 children — complementing Government assistance in tuition fees and travel – by providing school uniforms, sandals, bags and stationery, and operating Homework & Learning Centres in areas where the needy communities are concentrated.
Theme
The theme of the campaign theme was “Zero Tolerance on all forms of Child Abuse & Walk for Education”.
The organization campaigned for funds and more volunteers and supporters for the Foundation’s mission and work for the education of the needy children.
