Sport Climbing Fiji is the National Federation for Sport Climbing in Fiji.

Sport Climbing Fiji represents Fiji in the International Federation of Sport Climbing – the International Federation representing Sport Climbing in the International Olympic Committee and at other international organizations.

Sport Climbing Fiji is also a member of the Oceania Council for Sport Climbing.

At 31 and still an eligible bachelor, the Sigatoka man from Natadola Beach, epitomises the true Nadro spirit. He is unfazed by the political giants who dominate domestic politics and has announced that work has begun to set up a proposed new party, the proposed Fijian National Congress, to represent the youths of this country.

The former school teacher resigned from teaching in 2019. He wanted to return to teaching in 2020 but could not get a posting so he decided to take on the challenge for young people to enter politics.

Fiji-Hindi and Hindi are two very different languages. Fiji-Hindi is inclusive of the socio-cultural diversities in Fiji. It is also inclusive of the heritage and culture of the Girmityas. Fiji-Hindi is similar to the Hindustani language that existed in Bharat – Undivided India. The Hindustani language was inclusive of the socio-cultural diversities in Bharat because it borrowed words from several other languages and dialects. Some native to Bharat while others brought from outside, like Arabic and Persian. A word is not merely word. It carries the strength of culture and tradition. The inclusive nature of Hindustani language made it the common tongue among vastly diverse Bharat. Then the British emerged in Bharat. Time witnessed the fall of Bharat to become India. The British Divide and Rule policy built a strong wall between Hindu and Muslim communities. The foundation of this wall was laid by tearing Hindustani into two new languages – Hindi and Urdu. Hindi for Hindus. Urdu for Muslims. This division contributed to several million Indians to form a new country – The Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

He stated the reason for his resignation was his work commitments, which needed more attention

A National Federation Party (NFP) provisional candidate Savneel Sangeet has resigned from the Party.

The 27-year-old school teacher, avid sports hiker and mountaineer and child’s rights advocate had withdrawn his candidacy and wrote to the Party Leader Biman Prasad of his resignation from the Party last Thursday. Mr Prasad accepted his resignation.

A National Federation Party (NFP) provisional candidate believes that same-sex marriage should be legalised in Fiji.

But the former schoolteacher maintained that this is his personal views and not of the party.

Savneel Sangeet said he respected human rights and anybody had the right to choose whom they wanted to marry.

“As such, I think same sex marriage should be allowed in Fiji,” Mr Sangeet said.

But for the 27-year-old, his passion is all about advocating for children’s rights and reducing child abuse.
