Six Fijians have started the four hundred and sixty-one kilometers walk today to raise funds for four hundred children who come from low-income families.

Participant, Savneel Sangeet, says the walk will be fruitful as they are helping children to facilitate their education and also fight against child abuse.

Sangeet says they will be walking 58 kilometers today before continuing tomorrow.

The team will be visiting thirty-seven villages and eleven towns during the walk.

The walk for education and zero tolerance against child abuse aims to generate up to $100,000.

The participants will walk for ten days.
